But then that would show that the Player's Union isn't solidified, perhaps giving the owners extra leverage in any future disputes. It's all about politics.

HAHAHAHA! That would be so ironic considering that Detroit beat Carolina in five a few years ago. But I don't know, the Canes haven't been playing as well lately.

Sens = playoff chokers. 'Nuff said. Plus, their playoff hope is resting on currently injured Dominik Hasek who is in his 40's. Last time a 40+ year old goalie won the Cup was in 1967...

Well they had Hossa last playoffs. They lost because of goaltending and they're going to lose again because of goaltending. Things are really not looking good with Hasek injured right now. The Rangers and Buffalo look good in the East and I have a feeling about Dallas in the West.

I'm pretty certain he has only one assist in seven or eight games. Kind of disgusting considering how much he's being paid.
As for trades, I don't really see anything big happening. I could see Phoenix making a few trades, but I highly doubt there will be any blockbusters.

No doubt, Theo will be remembered as the second coming of Jim Carey. Ever since his Hart/Vezina year, he's played like crap, even during the playoffs against Boston last season.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge, he's only played two games so far. And besides, Colorado isn't exactly that great of a team this year, or at least not compared to how good they have been in the past.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Look at Kolzig in Washington, Lehtonen in Atlanta, and Luongo in Florida. Excellent goalies who play well in front of really, really bad defense corps. And even Theodore during his one good year, he had TERRIBLE defense in front of him. I would say having decent defence helps, but by no means is it the end all.
